System Capital Management is one of Eastern Europe's largest and most respected corporations, with diverse holdings that range from commercial real estate and hotels to steel production plants and other industrial operations. When the company chose to site its offices in a building near Ukraine's Foreign Ministry and the historic St. Michael's Cathedral, it selected Ayala to create a world-class headquarters.

The focal point of the building was the top two floors, which house a boardroom and executive suites, complemented by several floors of managerial offices, open plan spaces and an auditorium, incorporating rich custom design elements with a completely integrated state-of-the-art electronic audio- visual system. The lobby, circulation areas and washrooms use a combination of marble and wood to create a modern corporate feel and luxurious environment throughout the building.

VASIL KISIL & PARTNERS

In Kyiv, Ukraine, the prominent law firm Vasil Kisil & Partners retained Ayala to be designer and interior contractor for the fit-out of its new offices. Ayala's work included the law firm's reception area and the supply and installation of traditional looking veneered system furniture, throughout the open plan areas. Partner's offices, meeting rooms, and a board room complete the project.

The rich wood furnishings and wall panelling create the ideal ambiance for this long established firm and Ayala incorporated iconic furnishings by Mies van der Rohe and Charles Pollack into the scheme adding elegance and richness to the professional setting.

Ayala's office furnishing division, Interiors International, has many years expertise in space planning of commercial interiors, which helps businesses maximize their utilization of expensive office space. The group also maintains a close relationship with leading quality European and American furniture manufacturers. SNG Executive Floor

I Ayala was awarded a contract for the design and fit out of the executive floor of this new headquarters building for one of Russia's major energy companies and created a traditionally panelled suite of rooms for the CEO and his staff.

The suite includes a boardroom with a magnificent fifteen metre rosewood table and seating for thirty two together with a smaller meeting room with seating for twenty.

The CEO's office continues the wood panelled theme and features handmade carpets and chandeliers, with coffered backlit ceilings providing good illumination levels at the working surfaces.
